AMPRAW 2017 will be held at the University of Edinburgh in the Central Area (click here for an online campus map and here for a PDF version).
DAY ONE (Thursday 23rd November): 01M.469, doorway 3 Medical School, Teviot Place, Edinburgh, EH8 9AG (close to the School of History, Classics and Archaeology)
DAY TWO (Friday 24th November): 2.13 Geography, Old Infirmary, 1 Drummond Street, Edinburgh, EH8 9XP
Look out for signs directing you to the rooms on both days. We'll also be waiting in Teviot Place on Day Two to take people to the Old Infirmary.

Public Transport
From Edinburgh International Airport, you can take the Airlink airport bus (a single ticket costs £4.50 and an open return costs £7.50; the buses operate throughout 24/7) or the tram to the city centre. Taxis are also available.
If you're travelling to the conference by train, the nearest station is Edinburgh Waverley.
Alternatively, a taxi from Edinburgh Waverley to the Central Area will cost around £7.
For train times and information, please consult Scotrail or National Rail.
Buses into Edinburgh will arrive at St Andrews Square bus station in the city centre.
To find out which buses will take you to the Central Area, you can use
the Traveline journey planner with the destination postcode (for example, EH8 9AG).
A single bus ticket costs £1.60.
Buy the ticket on the bus, and be aware that exact change is required.
From Edinburgh Waverley train station, take the exit to Market Street or Waverley Bridge. It's around a 15-20 minute walk to the conference venue.
